We firmly believe in supplying only those Divine Rudraksha beads which are purely only mother nature’s work and with no man made interventions. I most eagerly wish to share some very vital piece of information with my esteemed readers regarding the Chinese influx or what I call the virtual invasion into the Rudraksha domain regardless of whether it is Nepal or Indonesia. I am sure that I have caught your rapt attention with this statement. You must be startled and left wondering that what on Earth do the Chinese have to do with what is primarily a Hindu spiritual aspect. This is precisely what crossed my mind when I saw tons and tons of Chinese over a decade ago in far flung East Nepal virtually devouring scores of Rudraksha’s of varied Mukhi’s. They make enormous purchases and virtually wash out the entire market which is one of the prime reasons that there is a severe crunch and crisis of superior Rudraksha’s. This has also been one of the fundamental reasons for the escalation of the costs of the Divine Rudraksha’s. Especially so in case of collector or great pieces.
On account of their money power they outbid the scarce people like us who make it to these practically unreachable places in the mountains and literally steal most of the collector beads way before us. They use these Rudraksha’s for varied purposes ranging from “Acupressure” purposes to making Powders to wearing it as a Social Statement. It is a fancy that they have taken too and it is one of their latest toys with which they are playing at the cost of the Holy Rudraksha being greatly compromised. I say this as the Chinese have introduced Clamps / Clips to alter the very structure of the Rudraksha’s. Pictures of these clamps are placed ahead for your reference :

This is not all and I can go on and on. It is very scary to see where the Divine Rudraksha is headed. I fortunately over the decades have made intimate friends in the hills who still favour us as we denounce and deplore these malpractices. These handful of these virtuous people still help us in our quest for procuring authentic, untampered, unaltered purely Organic beads of a superior quality. Alas, most of the Nepalese in the hills have fallen for the Chinese on account of the biggest lure in the world “MONEY” and serious Big Bucks. Some Chinese are to be found not only during the fruiting season but almost all round the year. They are dog head, passionate and go getters by nature. Most are also ill tempered and do not like their privacy being invaded in the smallest fashion. They make virtual factories with varied machineries and chemicals in the rooms they live. Believe me these rooms stink.
The Chinese have scant regard for the piousness of the Sacred Rudraksha and treat it merely as a means to earn. Over the years I have seen them drill, machine and medicate the Rudraksha to alter it’s fundamental shape and contour’s to what not. At this pace I really don’t know if in the days to come the common man would be able to lay his hands on mother nature’s most valuable gift to mankind : an untainted an unadulterated Rudraksha. In fact at the pace we are headed that way the days appear to be close by.
I do not wish to be pessimistic and paint a gloomy picture but then unfortunately I have been a witness over the decades to these fast changing dreadful times.
